1. Thermal runaway: The reason why customized lithium batteries are at risk of explosion is due to a process called "thermal runaway" in the reaction inside the battery. "Thermal runaway" is an energy positive feedback loop process: the rising temperature causes the system to heat up, the system heats up and the temperature rises, which in turn makes the system hotter. The above reasons such as battery short circuit, high ambient temperature, frequent overcharging, unauthorized modification of the shell, etc., will cause thermal runaway of lithium-ion batteries, which may cause fire or explosion.
2. Too high temperature: Too high temperature means that the internal heat of the battery has reached its limit. Long-term charging, high-temperature irradiation, and baking can easily cause the battery temperature to be too high. This can also easily cause the explosion of customized lithium batteries.
Long-term overcharging of the battery cell: Under long-term charging, overcharging and overcurrent can also cause high temperature and high pressure, resulting in hidden dangers. Customized lithium batteries may discharge instantly and generate a large amount of current under special temperature, humidity, and poor contact conditions, causing spontaneous combustion or explosion.
3. Battery short circuit: When the battery is at high temperature, or is hit, metal friction, etc., it may cause a short circuit and explosion.
4. The charger and battery are not compatible: The wrong model of charger is easy to cause battery accidents.
